Kevin joined RHL Ventures in 2020 and is currently an Investment Associate. He is part of the US$70m Hibiscus Fund jointly managed by RHL Ventures and South Korea's KB Investment. His role involves sourcing, evaluating, and performing due diligence on potential investments across Southeast Asia.
Experience
Kevin is an Investment Associate at RHL Ventures. He is focused on investments across Southeast Asia from Series A to Growth with investments across Fintech, Wealth Management, Media & Entertainment, and Commerce.

Since joining RHL Ventures in 2020, Kevin has been focused on deal origination and portfolio monitoring. He has built a strong network within the Malaysian Venture Ecosystem and Fund Management. Kevin actively participates in Ecosystem events in Malaysia, Singapore, and Greater Southeast Asia. He was a Food & Agri Judge for FlyAsia Busan 2022, one of the speakers for Penang Green Finance Conference 2022, VC Office Hours Mentor with Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) etc.

Kevin is a dual-degree holder with a Master’s in Management from Imperial College London and a Master's of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Bath. Kevin was part of a research team focusing on 'Bacteria-based Self-Healing Concrete' spearheading new concrete technology in conjunction with Materials 4 Life (M4L), a government-backed research project based at Cardiff, Bath, Bradford, and Cambridge Universities funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).
